Clara Moto - Persephony EP

Clara Moto, a name to keep an eye on. The Austrian born, Barcelona resident has enveloped in musical studies since her youth where classical piano was her instrument of choice. Now a fully fledged member of the electronic scene, it is her Live-DJ sets, witnessed at last years Sonar and Montreux festivals that have really brought her to our attention. Walking an elegant line from Minimal to Micro, and Deeper house, her sound has transferred seamlessly into her productions.

Working with production duo Soundsilo, she has released two highly acclaimed EP's on French label 'Infine', and more recently remixed Petter's 'Robotfood' on Manual.

Today she delivers her debut EP for Masaya's Mina Records. Three tracks that show Moto's diverse range of sounds. The deep, atmospheric, driving electronic sounds of lead track 'Persephony' is backed by the throbbing, grooving bass of the excellent 'Montana Wildhack', and the deeper, melodic, french flavored 'Become'.

Providing the remix on the package is Cologne born, Berlin resident Rene Breitbarth. Known for his ability of crossing genre's, Rene has produced in a variety of styles from Minimal, Techno, Deep, Tech and House. His releases and remixes and two full length albums have featured on labels including Pokerflat, Treibstoff, Spectral and Dessous.

Today Rene has his deep and lush hat on. Taking 'Persephony', stripping it down and reconstructing it with a tender touch. He creates a wonderful soundtrack for hazy summer nights. Beautiful!
